RPEA Chapter 9 Surf City- Santa Cruz has been serving retired public employees since 1958.
Community Services
In 2020, we donated $300 to Meals on Wheels.
For 2019, we donated $1500 to the following organizations.
$500 to Grey Bears
$500 to Second Harvest Food Bank
$500 to Meals on Wheels

Our chapter participates in the Adopt-A-Family in Santa Cruz County each year.
Every year at our summer picnic and at our holiday social we collect dollars and food stuffs for Second Harvest
Every dollar donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank is
turned into 4 meals and 95% of the money goes towards feeding people. For $25
they can get enough food to fill up a barrel.
If you would like to contribute, but can’t come to meetings, you can send your donation to the Chapter PO Box and it will be added to the Second Harvest Food Drive.
We have a year round book donation program.
